I’m a Fukuoka-based photographer who loves this city as much as you’re about to. I know where to find the softest morning light, which corners are most photogenic, and how to find a quiet corner even on a busy day.

Kimono rental and dressing are not included — please book them yourself (I’m happy to recommend shops). If you’d like to shoot at a venue you choose, such as your hotel, a restaurant or a café, please check with the venue that photos are OK. For the usual spots (Ohori Park, Maizuru Park, shrines in Fukuoka City and Dazaifu Tenmangu), I check and arrange any shooting permission myself. If a location charges a photography fee, it’s added at cost.
Prices in Japanese yen, tax included. Your card converts the amount automatically at checkout. You can also send your request on WhatsApp or LINE — I usually reply within 24 hours.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Do you speak English?
Yes! All communication — booking, planning and the shoot itself — is in English. You don’t need any Japanese at all.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain can make beautiful, moody photos with clear umbrellas. If heavy rain is forecast, we’ll decide together on the day and move your session to another time during your stay at no cost. If no other time works for you, you’ll get a full refund.
What is your cancellation policy?
- 7 or more days before: full refund
- 2–6 days before: 50% refund
- Within 48 hours or no-show: non-refundable
- Bad weather or if I need to cancel: free reschedule or 100% refund
Need to change your date instead? Free rescheduling is available up to 48 hours before your session, subject to availability. Full terms are in our Legal Notice.
How do I book a specific date and time?
Choose your package and send me your preferred date, time and location through the contact form, WhatsApp or LINE. I’ll check my schedule and reply within 24 hours, either confirming the date or suggesting other times. Once the date is set, I’ll send you a secure Stripe payment link. Please pay within 48 hours; your booking is confirmed once payment is complete.
What should we wear?
Whatever makes you feel like yourselves. Coordinated (not matching) colours work beautifully; soft neutrals and gentle colours look great in daylight. Kimono rental? Great idea — I can recommend shops nearby (please book and arrange it yourself).
How will we receive our photos?
Your 5 Quick Teaser photos are sent within 24 hours, and your full gallery arrives within 7 days as a private online link. Download everything in high resolution and share freely on social media. With the Your Camera Session, the photos are taken on your own device, so they’re with you the moment we finish.
Will you post our photos online?
Only with your permission. Your photos are yours — I’ll ask before sharing any of them on my website or Instagram. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Who arranges kimono rental and shooting permission?
- Kimono: please book rental and dressing yourself. I can recommend shops near your shoot location.
- Usual spots (Ohori Park, Maizuru Park, shrines in Fukuoka City, Dazaifu Tenmangu): I check the rules and arrange any permission needed. If a location charges a photography fee, it’s added at cost, and I’ll tell you the amount before your booking is confirmed.
- A venue you choose (a hotel, restaurant or café): please ask the venue in advance. Requests from guests are usually approved more easily. You can show the staff this message in Japanese (it asks if you may take about 30 minutes of souvenir photos there with one photographer, no tripod, without disturbing other guests):
〇月〇日〇時ごろ、こちらで30分ほど記念写真を撮影させていただけますか。プロのカメラマン1名が同行します。三脚は使わず、ほかのお客様のご迷惑にならないようにいたします。

Can family or friends join?
Of course — the Signature Session is great for families. Just let me know your group size when booking.
Do we pay anything on the day?
No. Everything is prepaid online through Stripe, so there’s no cash to worry about during your trip.
